I have some exciting news. My first book of poetry, Witch. Priestess. Storyteller is now available to purchase! Several years worth of writing, nurturing my muse that culminated into the past several months as I worked through the practicalities of publishing a book, and I can now announce that it is available to purchase!

Inspired by my path as a Pagan, a Witch, a Priestess, a Storyteller, a Mama, a Sister, each piece of poetry has come from my soul. Soul poetry. I have written some whilst out in the howling wind on the Pennines. I have written some with my feet rooted into the earth in the centre of a forest. Some came to me whilst my feet were soaking in the cold North Sea. Others were inspired by the changing seasons. Some were written in devotion to the Goddess.

The first piece I wrote was in February 2021 and later became entitled Brigantia Rising. It speaks of the journey I undertook as a Priestess, written at a time when the first stirrings of Spring were beginning to rise. A lot of the symbolism within this poem speaks directly of Brigantia, Brighid, Bridie. At this time, I’d also had reoccuring dreams and visions in meditation of being laid upon a spider web over primordial waters, and this too, weaved its way into the poem.

The last piece I wrote was in October of 2024- roughly six weeks ago from the date you’ll see this post. This piece, entitled Hecate of the Crossroads, is the beginning of a deepening of working with Hecate. I’d come to a crossroad in my life, metaphysically and spiritually speaking. I’d taken pause for a year after initiating as a Priestess, and She came as the Scorpio season came, with an offering of choice. I could continue as I was, or take the other path, deepening my spiritual path and accepting all that came with that. To be seen and to be heard. I’ll let you guess which path I chose, considering that my book is now published!

I have continued to write after this book was finalised. Perhaps in a couple of years, there will be another book to go along with this one. For now, as we approach the season of Stillness, I’m letting ideas gestate and seed, to see which ones are nourished and which remain buried in the soil.

If you wish to purchase the book, you can do that below. The book is also listed in my offerings pages (more coming on that soon!)

Below are some pictures that were taken that also inspired some of the poetry that I’ve written, or the places I walked when I was inspired to write, enjoy!
